Let me explain you simply this is exactly opposite to river linking project (Nadhi neer inaipu thiittam)
Why? It’s not a better project because linking rivers & Making a new way rivers makes an ecological imbalance said by an natural activists ..what the Nature is ecological system is rivers formed from the mountains for example Himalayas has many link of rivers so the rivers connected formed and ended up in the sea this is what an system is….
