- Multi-storey apartments & IT Companys in pallavaram,thiruvanmiyur,omr who do not have metro water connection depends only on private lorry tankers for drinking waters
- Tamilnadu government reports 9000 tanker lorries per day supply water to the omr area
- They have begun to sell for more money to water tanker (per day ) Now 12000 Litres is 5000 rs
Before 20 days price is 2000 rs

IT company’s on one asking employees to work from home because they don’t have water to sustain operation
Some of Hotels and restraunts on chennai says we don’t serve lunch foods because of water scarcity

This is what happens In whole tamilnadu in summer no one notices but when it comes to city everyone talk about that..
How do we avoid day zero ?
- Take care Existing water bodies (pond,lake ,river etc)
- Rain water harvesting
For us to follow :
- Recycling waste water on micro level
- Remove leaked taps on home
- Try to save water for our childrens
